ADTS designed and delivered a custom Environment Monitoring System for a railway inspection train operating in China. The system integrates multiple optical, non-contact technologies aimed at monitoring the condition of overhead line infrastructure and surrounding elements during standard inspection runs.

System Configuration

The installed system includes:

  • Pole Detector
    A detection unit equipped with 4 distance sensors, capable of identifying the presence and measuring the position of overhead electrification poles with high precision.
  • Catenary Monitoring Module
    Composed of 2 camera boxes and 6 high-efficiency LED illuminators, the module enables non-contact measurement of catenary height and stagger, supporting accurate geometric verification of the overhead line.

Integrated Analysis Software

All data is processed through the proprietary ADTS software platform, allowing operators to visualize and record inspection results in real time. Key functionalities include:
